Traditional Irish Music
Ireland has long been known for its Irish folk music that has been passed down from generation to generation.
The Irish Harp and Bodhran are two of the traditional instruments of Irish dance music.
Bodhran means "skin tray". The bodhrán was used by the Irish forces as a battle drum, or to provide a cadence for the warriors to keep to, as well
as to announce the arrival of the army.
The word cláirseach refers to a variety of Irish harps.
